Second Chance Farm Horse Rescue
I met Elsa, when my mother had to give up her two horses
because she couldn't properly care for them any longer, this
women works tirelessly with animals that have come from pretty
severe upbringings, abused, neglected, hurt and not properly
cared for. Second Chance Farm Horse Rescue truly gives these
horses hope, love and a safe place to recover and grow. |
Second Chance Farm had an existing website, but felt that the site wasn't
quite meeting their specific needs, AKW redesigned the site,
giving it a fresh new look, rearranged the content for maximum
impact and optimized
the pages. We then purchased a proper domain name

account free of charge, we are also taking on all updates and
edits to the site on a pro bono basis. |

The Kitchener Waterloo Aquarium SocietyPhil came to
AKW looking for a reliable website hosting company for the Kwas.ca website,
AKW quickly became quite good friends with Phil who was so happy
with our service he started referring clients to us. |

sponsor the CBCCR so we agreed and developed a website for them
purchased the domain and hosted their website, we continue to do
ongoing web updates. The CBCCR has been with us through two very

The Literacy Group Of Waterloo RegionAround Kitchener Waterloo
went looking for an organization that we could do volunteer work
for through a discussion with one of our clients they mentioned
that they did volunteer work at The Literacy Group of Waterloo
Region, so in 2003 we approached TLG and were meet with a warm
response and a wonderful group of people, this organisation is
completely under funded yet manages to keep an optimistic
attitude through all events. |

Around Kitchener Waterloo volunteers our time and energy to take care of
all the computers for two offices, we have developed their website, host
and register the domain and do ongoing maintenance on a charitable
donation basis, we also teach an intermediate computer course and have
restructured the intermediate computer course twice and are currently
working on a more work place oriented approach to computer training. |

The Cat Hospital of KWAround Kitchener Waterloo has
come to know Dr. Bonnie Worthen after having her take care of
our
three cats. Dr. Bonnie went above and beyond for one of our cats and we
could never forget that. Dr. Bonnie also does cat rescue, every
cat that is rescued is given the best care possible, all at
Dr. Bonnie's expense, they are operated on, given shots, spayed
or neutered if necessary, all without a though for the cost. AKW decided to
give something back to Dr. Bonnie so we created her website, we
host and register the domain and do all editing. |

Canada End World HungerOur Client Grandview
Photography got involved with Canada End World Hunger and asked
if Around Kitchener Waterloo could help out with the design on
the page, we gladly agreed and from content given to us we
created the Canada End World Hunger homepage.
