Waterloo Region Block Parent® Program |
|
| |
I meet Darren
when he called to enquire about hosting prices for
a not for profit website, he really wanted to make a difference
in this organization and this was apparent throughout our
conversation, he sent me a very impassioned email on how he
wanted to make a difference in our community and how he
wanted to create a safe refuge for any child in need. Around
Kitchener Waterloo decided that we not only wanted to host
the site free we also wanted to use this opportunity as a test
case
for our new Content Management System. |
 |
|
| |
One look at their site at the time told me that they could use AKW's help, now we are proud to support Darren and
The
Waterloo Region Block Parent® Program in their
endeavour and wish them much success in bringing awareness
and safety into
our community.You can visit the
Block Parent® website at

Second Chance Farm Horse Rescue |
|
| |
I met Elsa, when my mother had to give up her two horses
because she couldn't properly care for them any longer, this
women works tirelessly with animals that have come from pretty
severe upbringings, abused, neglected, hurt and not properly
cared for. Second Chance Farm Horse Rescue truly gives these
horses hope, love and a safe place to recover and grow. |
 |
|
| |
Second Chance Farm had an existing website, but felt that the site wasn't
quite meeting their specific needs, AKW redesigned the site,
giving it a fresh new look, rearranged the content for maximum
impact and optimized
the pages. We then purchased a proper domain name
http://www.secondchancefarm.ca for them and setup a hosting
account free of charge, we are also taking on all updates and
edits to the site on a pro bono basis. |

CBCCR |
|
| |
AKW designed, registers the domain, hosts and edits CBCCR's website on a
volunteer basis. Just what is the CBCC? Well, it’s not a race. It’s a
driver’s event that tests the drivability of our old British cars. The
idea grew out of the ‘America’s British Reliability Run,’ based out of
Michigan and is modeled loosely on several events held yearly in Britain
with the same goal: to help a worthy charity and have fun while doing
so.
|
 |
|
| |
They have raised 8,500.00 for Camp Trillium
This years run was for Diabetes.

Alphanon Consultants |
|
| |
AKW Hosts, edits and registers Alphanon's domain on a volunteer basis. Alphanon
Consultants was established in 1994 by a group of addictions
professionals to further develop the concept of treatment alternatives
for people who would otherwise be left to their addictions and criminal
activity. |
 |
|
| |
We were of the opinion that a potential loss of human capital was
increasing because of poor or tardy identification of issues that
rendered the individual subject to repeated unsuccessful treatment,
inconsistent employment, incarceration and the undermining of social and
family fabric. Our experience as therapists, program developers in
various treatment milieus and our willingness to go to the client,
commends us to a large niche in both the business and private community.
These individuals are corporate executives to young people beginning
their careers in life.
